051 – Random 1930s Photo’s (part one)

For the next couple of days I’ll be posting scans of a few of the random photo’s that I haven’t used. Any that have backslips will have those details below.

Look closely at the first photo and you’ll see how in the days before photoshop type software a pen was used to touch up…

  1. Is that Punch McEwan hosing down the baths? Looking very dapper in his waistcoat and bow tie!

  2. McEwan was the club’s manager throughout World War 1 but never gets credited. It’s about time he was given his place in Arsenal’s history.
